Pearl's Special training

Once upon a time, in the picturesque town of Beach City, there lived a little girl named Peggy. She had a head of wild, curly hair and bright, curious eyes that sparkled with wonder. Peggy's best friends were none other than Steven Universe and Connie. The trio was inseparable, sharing adventures, laughter, and dreams.

Their days were filled with beachcombing, exploring the Gem Temple, and indulging in delicious fry bits at the local diner. Steven, Connie, and Peggy were as close as friends could be, bound not only by their shared experiences but by an unbreakable bond of trust and love.

As they grew, their friendship only deepened, and Peggy began to notice something peculiar. Pearl, one of the Crystal Gems and Steven's stalwart protector, had taken a keen interest in her and Connie. At first, it seemed innocent enough; Pearl offered to teach them sword fighting to better protect themselves and aid Steven.

However, Peggy soon realized that there was something more to Pearl's intentions. She often used the word "training," but there was an underlying motive that Peggy couldn't quite decipher. Pearl saw untapped potential in Peggy, something she believed could be harnessed for a greater purpose.

Little by little, Peggy and Connie's training sessions took a different turn. Pearl introduced a mysterious gem device, explaining that it was necessary for their progress. Unbeknownst to Peggy, this device had a sinister purpose. It began to manipulate her memories and alter her physical form.

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Peggy's transformation was both physical and mental. Her once-human body underwent a profound change, as a gemstone began to take shape on her forehead, just like Pearl's. Peggy was slowly becoming a Gem, an entity made entirely of light projected from her gemstone.

What Peggy didn't realize was that, with each passing day, her identity was being rewritten. She now believed, with unwavering conviction, that she was Steven's Pearl, and he was her Diamond. Her memories of her human life began to fade, replaced by an unshakable loyalty to Steven and a sense of duty to protect him at all costs.

The transformation was permanent, and Peggy had become an integral part of the Crystal Gems, just like Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst. She served her Diamond, Steven, with undying devotion, her gemstone glowing brightly on her forehead, a symbol of her unwavering commitment.

And so, in the heart of Beach City, a new Gem had emerged, not through choice but through manipulation. Peggy's story became a cautionary tale of the lengths some would go to in order to protect the ones they loved, even if it meant erasing the very essence of who someone once was. But in the end, love, friendship, and the strength of one's true self would always find a way to shine through, even in the darkest of transformations.
