Wishing to get excited like a dog

 Once upon a time, in a quaint little house, lived a young woman named Peggy. She had a normal life, a caring boyfriend, and a mischievous dog named Sam. One day, as Peggy stood in her kitchen, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at Sam's exuberant antics. "Uh, stupid dog always getting excited over everything!" she muttered under her breath. "I wish I could feel that excited about everything."


To her surprise, as if in response to her wish, the world around Peggy began to twist and warp. A surreal sensation enveloped her, and she watched in awe as her body underwent a gradual transformation. Her limbs shifted, her senses changed, and she felt an inexplicable shift in her perspective.

As Peggy's transformation continued, a second dog bowl appeared beside Sam's, bearing the name "Peggy" in playful letters. A matching dog bed materialized next, along with a pink leash that harmonized with Sam's blue one. With each addition, Peggy's human consciousness faded, replaced by the simpler, joyful mindset of a dog.


Her memories, her worries, her human complexities all melted away, leaving Peggy with an unwavering focus on the present moment. The world was now a canvas of scents, sounds, and textures to explore. The sight of her boyfriend became synonymous with the promise of adventure, and the jingle of the leash sent her tail wagging uncontrollably.


Peggy's transformation was complete. She had become a dog in both body and mind. Yet, there was no sense of loss or regret. Instead, an overwhelming contentment filled her being. Her days revolved around walks, treats, and belly rubs, and she cherished every second of it.
